Electric bicycles are made for dense city commuting able to beat the travel times of cars and mass transit hands down. The problem with dense cities is people like to walk off with things that aren’t theirs. So you don’t really want to leave you valuable electric bicycle tied up on a public bike rack. Even if you bring your battery inside there is still all sorts of pawn-able components still attached to the bike. So your options are either to take your bike apart every time you tie it up, hope nothing gets taken, or bring the bike inside with you. The first two options aren’t great, but how do you keep a bike in your already cramped apartment?
The answer is to get the right bike. The E-Wheels EW-450 is a folding commuter bike made to take up as little space as possible. It has the power and convenience of a normal electric bike but in a bite sized form factor. The EW-450 is designed for commuting to where you need to go in comfort. It has a rear cargo rack for your bag, fenders to keep the puddle water off you, and lights so you can ride at night. The bike is made to be put behind a couch or dresser by folding it to half the size and folding in the pedals. It uses a heavy duty hinge in the middle of the frame that locks in place with a spring loaded pin. It is sturdy, and you don’t have to worry about the hinge becoming loose while riding.
This is an e-bike that is designed to solve the problems of the modern city commuter, while still being capable. So if you need a fun way to get to work but don’t have a place to keep your bike, then just fold up the Electric Wheels EW-450 and bring it inside your home or office.
