The only reason why I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the bike seat and bar had to be replaced. (For Comfort) Also, right foot peddle has broke. Ordered new , (better ones) on Amazon. Will get them in a few days. And I also think it needed better instructions on putting it together. But other than that, its a very good bike. It looks good, runs good and seems worth the money you spend on it. But only time will tell how durable the motor and battery is. Will update in a year or two if I can......

I really liked my 300 li but unfortunately my battery stopped taking a charge after a year and a half wich is disappointing considering the cost of a new one is almost half the cost of the bike. it's a good riding bike otherwise.

After a couple of months, love the bike. It makes bike riding really fun. Just had to replace the pedals and put slime puncture proof inner tubes on after getting a couple of flats with thorns. Thanks for an affordable electric bike.

I am the same person with the title " generally good bike. After 2 month of riding it 30 km each working day, I like it even more

I have absolutely all praises for my experience buying this bike. I was informed that there would be a delay of a few days getting the bike (no biggie). When I got it, it was very easy to assemble and it rides like a gem. I have and will definitely recommend Farbike to anyone and everyone.

This is my first electric bike. I searched the others and this is by far the best Bang for the Buck! A lot of nice features on this bike. Bike went together in about 45 minutes. Battery doesn't know when to quit, lasts for hours. I'm 225 lbs. and plenty of power for hills. Great people at FarBike.

I've bought this bike 4 weeks ago. It arrived in two wweeks with one bar in rear rack and one disk brake damaged. They sent me the replacing parts free of charge. Installation was easy for me (l am engineer). I ride the bike to work. It is 4 weeks now. It reduced my trip from 55 minutes ( on normal bike) to 40 minutes with no sweat. I go on highest gear (7) all the times effortlessly. I wish there was a gear 8 because i have to pedal too fast to be any help to the electric motor. With me pedaling it goes at least 30 km on one charge. The speed on flat surface is about 30 km /h.

Overall I love it. The PAS works much better than I expected and moves along pretty well. Even on hills. Overall I gv it a 4, could be a 5 except for small issues. We have used it daily and not run the battery down. Casual riding.

In the past 30 years I have lived in hilly cities (Morgantown WV, Jerusalem Israel, Pittsburgh PA.). I used to always commute by bicycle. Now that I have reached the ripe age of 63, I no longer want to deal with hills, and I found myself not riding very much. This bike negates most of the hills. Occasionally there is a hill that is a challenge, but I now prefer my bike to my car.
The battery life is great, don't have to worry about running out of charge. The assembly was very easy, and everything worked right out of the box.
The reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't care for the geometry of the bike. An 18 inch frame is too big for me at 5'8 (with short legs) and the peddles swing a bit close to the front wheel (a sharp turn of the handlebars causes my foot to hit the wheel). I'm not sure why they do not make a 16 inch model. Certainly a 5'2 or 5'4 person would have a lot of trouble with the size. Overall, I really like this bike and highly recommend it.

First off yes the seat is terrible but easy to replace. OK enough with the bad. I am a 55 year old that works 2.5 miles from work in Ohio I had to walk and it took me 45 minutes now with my bike it takes me 10 minutes. The bike is fantastic takes the hills with no problems have no problem when it rains. Seems to be a good solid bike. Assembly could not be any easier. As far a far bikes customer support I have not yet had to use them but they did ship me my bike the day I ordered it so so far so good. I can not tell you how much I LOVE my new xb-300li bike it's making my life so much easier. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would recommend far bike as the place to buy it.

This is my third electric bike and I like it the best. I've had it two months and ride it everyday. I use it around my neighborhood on surface streets which are not very steep. I get good mileage and amble power assist from the battery. It appears to be well constructed. Assembly was pretty easy. Other than the seat being rather uncomfortable, I have no complaints at this time. I will let you know if it gives me trouble. FarBike customer service has been good.

good ped bike for the price..Shimano parts, solid frame, and lithium battery are the positives...sketchy brakes and average rims are the cons...battery will get you 18 to 30 miles depending on condition
s/effort...I would recommend this bike for the price....I have ridden my extreme 300 over 1000 miles

Bike is great-I've put on about 200mi in the past 3 weeks, and am still using the same tires and everything's running great! The bikes a bit heavy to get up and downstairs every day, but nothing I can't handle. I wish the handlebars were a bit higher, or adjustable. Just rode in a downpour and everything still works fine (so far-won't be making that a habit tho!). Seat isn't the best, I'd recommend buying a crotchless squishy schwinn or something more comfy, because it's hard and you can't adjust the tilt. I'm tall @5'11", and I've gotta have the seat at the highest position in order to extend my legs properly to the pedals, so it's a bit of a hike to have to hop on the seat since its not tilted. Ah well. Nothing Wal-Mart won't fix... Headlight is essentially a flashlight and not very bright, but it works if only to let oncoming traffic see you. Right grip likes to slip off, so I'll be whipping out some duct tape whenever it finally drives me over the edge. Great bike, easy to put together - it came with all the needed tools, and I put it together in about 30mins.

So far so good the bike is great it helps a me a lot specially up hill. There is some detail that they should focus on it.The bike when you got a hard rough road the chain will detach from front gear because the gear plate is not in align.

Everything was good out of the package. the bike seems solidly built. The bike is fast, and with peddling, it goes quite a long ways before charging is required.
A few things we wish the bike had includes: different levels of peddle assist (the little red button on the left side turns the peddle assist on to FULL only); the springie seat post wriggles around and we replaced it with a solid one; you can keep the tool kit, the tools fit poorly for any nut and bolt;
OVERALL - its a great bike for the price.

I love this bike! It is a great looking bike that is a lot of fun to ride. I looked at other bikes all over the net and I could not find a better bike at a comparable price anywhere. I'm glad I chose this bike. it's just fun.

Instructions are almost worthless , rear tire went flat on 3rd ride, different seat is a must . Spokes were loose and bent .But I do have to say I do enjoy this bike a lot. I have rode this bike 60 miles total . With 3 ten mile trips , battery has never went dead. I had knee replacement and still can work my knee but not over do it. My wife is very athletic and now I can finally ride circles around her. I'm always ready to ride more than 10 miles but she is done . So for the price $679. It's a good deal once you work out the flaws , you will LOVE to ride 10 to 15 miles no problem, I can hardly wait to go on my next ride!!!

PROS: In the few weeks that I've had this bike I've put 400 miles on it. I recently moved to a new job and city and was facing a 10 mile commute each way through heavy traffic (California Bay Area). With the XB300Li I average 20 miles / hour with light pedaling and it only takes me a few minutes longer than driving, plus I get a little exercise. The instructions that came stated that the first few charge cycles the battery should be fully depleted, so I wanted to see how far it goes. I got 50 miles before the battery ran out on the initial factory charge. After my daily 20 mile commute the indicator still shows 80% charged (I'm 195lbs and the bike has saddlebags). Top speed throttle only is 19 mph no wind on flat ground, and with light pedaling it goes up to around 20mph. Pedaling doesn't add much to top speed, but it prolongs battery life. With slight downhill slope on some stretches I get around 24mph with light pedaling. Uphill it still goes 17mph with minimal effort. I did add skinny road tires since I only commute on bike lanes, and that added maybe 1-2 mph, but since I got a flat last week I realize that the extra weight of the battery and motor mean you have to be careful going over bumps, or just keep the heavier mtb tires. I pass a lot of spandex racers with ease, but there are some crazy fit fanatics with $10k racers out here who can go 25mph all day long. But even they get a kick out of the ebike when we stop at lights and chat. My 12 year old son sometimes borrows it to cruise around the neighborhood, and he comes back with the biggest dopiest grin on his face, pure bliss. Bike was easy to assemble. Bike rack is a nice touch.
CONS: Frame only comes in 1 size. It fits me (6'1") with the seat all the way up, just looks a little goofy. Some of the components (grips) are cheap but easily replaced or upgraded, but basically this is a $200 bike with a $500 battery and motor. When you look at it like that, it's incredible value for money - aluminum frame, disc brakes, decent suspension fork (I'd actually prefer a rigid fork for road riding, this ones pretty spongy), nice headset etc. Front wheel did have one spoke broken when it arrived, I've just ignored that for now. I also changed the seat and added bar ends.
Overall the Pros far outweigh the cons given the bang for your buck. At 20 miles a day this bike will have paid for itself in cost of gasoline alone in 7 months versus driving. If the bike lasts a couple of years without major issues regarding drive-train I will be thrilled.

I really like my XB-300LI. This is my first e-bike, so I don't know how it compares to other models. I ride it to work everyday, 5 miles each way with steep hills. I use it mainly in the pedal assist mode to get me up the hills. I definitely get some exercise, but I'm not sweaty when I get to work. I get about 25 miles per charge. This isn't a light bike, so be ready for hard work when the battery dies! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it arrived with 2 broken spokes ($15 to repair at my local bike shop) and a loose connector on the battery. I had to jury-rig it with a small piece of metal to get the battery to contact the bike. It was easy to do, but it took me a few days to figure out a way to make the bike work. This is a low-priced e-bike and I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. I am happy I bought it.
